Emily! I'm so excited to have found your blog via Brooklyn Limestone. LOVED your first episode on HGTV! keep 'em coming! -Kristen
ReplyDeleteEmily, as a former Portlander I loved the recap of PDX in August @ 65 degrees! Love the dress, but are you planning on wearing your signature tights? Maybe some makeup for those bruises, I am spatially challenged also. Loved your first episode, I still have it on the DVR so I can watch it again, More shows, PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteslip a sweater on with it honey 'cause it is going to be chilly here in ptown!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog! I loved your first episode. That house turned out so beautifully. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteOkay, I just watched your show AGAIN and I have some things to say: 1) you looked GORGE. Love the makeup. Very soft and natural. 2) Holy cow, I loved the design even more the second time. There are so many new things to notice with each watching! 3) Would you ever consider doing a blog post OR episode segment with tips on styling shelves, creating vignettes, and the like? I feel like I am an accessory hoarder, but once I have them in the house I don't have a clue what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteYou know, in all of your free time. Just write a post or film a whole episode in response to my request. Right.
sooo cute....will you feel weird not wearing blue?
ReplyDeleteI love this post. Can you always let us know what you'll be wearing every Sunday? I love your style and everything you wore on HGTV Design Star.
ReplyDeleteLinday Marie, my thoughts also. Pretty dress but no blue for you! It be pretty though.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress! Posted on you today on my blog

Loves it!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been a bit of a lurker, but I wanted to tell you that my husband and I watched Design Star religiously and decided that you were are fave from week one. We moved to Copenhagen in the middle of the season and I told him in no uncertain terms that he better figure out a way for us to keep watching! Your first show made me want to jump up and down... seriously! Holy Moly! Pure awesomeness!!! I haven't been this excited about HGTV ever! You have such an awesome perspective and you make your audience feel like we are right there with you... shopping with our BFF. It's amazing!! I would LOVE to see how you style a couple's home. My husband and I have several styles between the two of us that we love and some days I wonder if I can make them all work together without feeling too random.
ReplyDeleteWell, anyways! This is what happens when I hide for too long! I wish you the absolute best in all your upcoming adventures! Hugs from Denmark!
PS Your dress is perfect!
Hey Emily!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to winning. I'm just looking at a clip from your new show :D Unfortunately my hubby always occupies the TV when it's airing.
You are doing a great job, and I love your style. Glad to find out that you have a blog as well. Consider me a follower.

ReplyDeleteUm, yes. Love that dress. So cute. And yes, do go right ahead and nibble your bouquet throughout the ceremony and then tell us how it goes over. The color combos sound amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnd Big Sur is by far my favorite place on the entire planet. That cabin looks perfect.
Love floral dresses, so cute! I am so glad I found your blog - just wanted to say how much I love your tv show, the concept is amazing and the design you delivered is so fresh, current - way more beautiful than what I been seeing on HGTV lately. Your friend's house looks precious! If you need another house in LA to redesign I am up for it :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and best luck, I will be following your blog!
