Alright, my first three TV interviews are done. I was super nervous because two of them were live, meaning when i said 'good to having me,' instead of 'good to be here' or 'thanks for having me' i don't get to re-do it. Shucks. But i did actually have a lot of fun. And then i had a note session with myself where I make promises to: speak slower, wear my hair down, sit up straight and get that snaggle tooth fixed, for instance. (although Brian refuses to let me do the last one).
So in case you wanted to see me ramble in person, here ya go:
and
Don't forget tomorrow night. Down to four.
Courtland, Michael, Casey and Me.
Who's going home?
You were AMAZING! Loved both interviews but especially the second one. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteEmily!! We were first introduced to you on HGTV talking about styling someones space based on thier own style - clothes and fashion etc. You have such a FAB closet, as well as looking Goregous with hair and Makeup - love your natural beauty, you have a nice subtle touch that brings it all out. Think you could chat about your personal picks + tips? I'm always interested in others approch (former Make-up art here). XOX Ruthie Chi-town
ReplyDeleteBTW- 4-H here too! Cake decor, sewing etc - but my pastel/clay/petal/clip on earring and hair pin took me to state and I won that light purple (runner up) champion ribbion every 4-H girl dreams of. 4th grade WOOT! (thanks mom :)
ReplyDeletewe did some local (Phoenix) news shows as well and obsessed over them all--so much so that I got Invisalign (everyone asks me "why?" but that's what happens when you see yourself on big screen with HD and hitting "pause" every 10 seconds or so)and I now think that my "right" side is the better side for camera (geesh!) YOU, on the other hand--look and talk amazingly well.
ReplyDeleteEmily, it was an absolute pleasure running into you on the flight to burbank. It is nice to know that some people really are as nice as they seem on tv. My wife and I will be sure to root even harder for you now that I know how very genuine you seem. Thank you for taking the time to chat with a fan of the show.

Don't go changin'....to try to please us. We love you just the way you ah-ahhhhh-re. Seriously, it's your odd bits that make you perfect and unique. Also, know you've been super busy and not trying to add to it but wondering if I can look for the interview answers today or if it will be next week. I like to run them on Sundays before the show. No worries...just let me know via my blog or email if you can. :D Good luck tonight! www.ohmigoshblog.blogspot.com or jenofalltrades@ymail.com
ReplyDeleteEmily, you are a natural. You've got me absolutely hooked on Design Star, can't wait to see tonite's!
ReplyDeleteYou're very easy to watch and quite relatable. I'd like to see you go all the way and get your own show. It surely would have an organic feel. Great interviews! Looking forward to tonight's show.
ReplyDeleteso glad you made the top 3!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTop 3! YES!
ReplyDeleteAll hail re-purposing! I'd watch a whole show about re-purposing and salvaging items already owned. It'd probably be really popular in this economy.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the top 3!

ReplyDeleteHey! We were both on Studio 6 the same week! You=total professional. Me=totally freaked out and nervous. So happy to see you in the top 3!
